Setup Guide安装指南

1. On your child's PC: download and run the installer above (almost every PC is 64-bit; use 32-bit only for a very old one). The installer isn't code-signed yet, so the browser and Windows will each warn you once — that's expected:

   • While downloading (Edge / Chrome says the file "isn't commonly downloaded" or "could harm your device"): open the download list, hover over the file, click … → Keep, then Show more → Keep anyway.
   • When you run it ("Windows protected your PC"): click More info → Run anyway.
   • Admin permission: Windows then asks to allow changes — click Yes. If your child uses a standard account, type your (the parent's) admin password here. Uninstalling asks for the same permission (see "Can my child remove it?" under Everyday Use).

   When installation finishes, a welcome window opens. It shows the app has started (usually a few seconds), then asks for your email: enter the one you'll sign up with in step 2. Skipped it? Later use Start menu → ScreenTime Assistant → Pair with parent, or just run the installer again. (A pairing code from your Account page also works in the same box.)

   在孩子的电脑上下载并运行上面的安装包（绝大多数电脑选第一个；很老的 32 位电脑选第二个）。安装包暂时没有数字签名，浏览器和 Windows 会各拦一次，属正常现象：

   • 下载时（Edge / Chrome 提示“不常下载”或“可能会损害你的设备”）：打开下载列表，鼠标移到这个文件上，点「…」→「保留」，再点「显示更多」→「仍然保留」。
   • 运行时（弹出“Windows 已保护你的电脑”）：点「更多信息」→「仍要运行」。
   • 管理员权限：接着 Windows 会问“是否允许此应用更改设备”，点「是」；孩子用的是标准账户的话，这里输入家长的管理员密码。卸载时同样要这个权限（见日常使用里的“孩子能卸载吗？”）。

   装完会弹出一个欢迎窗口：先显示程序已经启动（一般几秒），然后让你填邮箱——填第 2 步注册用的那个。当时跳过了？以后从「开始菜单 → ScreenTime Assistant → Pair with parent」打开，或者再运行一次安装包就行。（在「Account」页拿到的配对码也可以填在同一个框里。）

2. On your phone or computer: open screentime-sync.01hunterwl.workers.dev and create an account with your email. (You can also do this after entering your email on the PC — the request waits until you sign up with that email.)

   在你自己的手机或电脑上打开 screentime-sync.01hunterwl.workers.dev，用你的邮箱注册一个账号。（也可以先在孩子电脑上填好邮箱再注册，请求会一直等着，直到你用这个邮箱注册。）

3. Approve it. Open Account: the PC shows up at the top under Waiting for your approval. Click Approve. Within about a minute the PC links itself, and usage shows up within about 5 minutes. Open Settings to give the PC a nickname and set weekday / weekend limits for each category. The star icon is hidden by default; to show it on your child's PC, turn on Show the tray icon under Account. Other Windows accounts on the same PC link themselves the first time they sign in and show up as separate entries — no need to pair them again.

Everyday Use日常使用

1. Check usage: the Dashboard shows today and this week by category, app and website. Tap a wrongly sorted item's category to fix it.

   看情况：「Dashboard」按类别、应用、网站列出今天和本周的时长；哪条归错了类，点它的类别就能改。

2. Stop or pause: on Settings, Stop next to a category closes it for the rest of today (even in a second screen or picture-in-picture); Resume undoes it. Pause turns tracking and limits off for an hour or until tomorrow.

   停用或暂停：在「Settings」里点某一类旁边的「Stop」，今天剩下的时间这一类都打不开（副屏、画中画里的也会关）；点「Resume」恢复。「Pause」可以暂停记录和限时 1 小时或到明天。

3. Turn off one app, website or link: in the Timeline on the Dashboard, flip the switch on the right of a row. Apps are turned off by name (e.g. Minecraft's javaw.exe). For web pages you can turn off the whole site, or just links that start with a certain address, so blocking Google Search doesn't block Google Docs. It closes within seconds whenever it's opened, until you flip the switch back. Everything turned off is listed under the Turned off tab above the Timeline, where you can allow it for 1, 2 or 3 hours (it turns off again by itself afterwards) or for good. Under Account, choose whether your child sees a notice first (off by default). Links are only checked in the window your child is looking at, not on a second screen.

   关掉某个应用、网站或链接：在看板的「Timeline」里，把那一行右边的开关拨掉。应用按程序名关（比如 Minecraft 的 javaw.exe）；网页可以关整个网站，也可以只关以某个网址开头的链接，这样关掉 Google 搜索不会连 Google 文档一起关掉。之后一打开，几秒内就会关掉，直到你把开关拨回来。关掉的都列在 Timeline 上面的「Turned off」标签里，可以临时放开 1、2、3 小时（到点自动再关），也可以一直放开。关之前要不要给孩子弹提醒，在「Account」里选（默认不弹）。链接只检查孩子正在看的那个窗口，副屏上的认不出。

4. Leave a message: type it under Messages on Settings. It pops up on your child's PC within about a minute, and they can reply.

   给孩子留言：在「Settings」的「Messages」里写一句，孩子电脑上大约一分钟内弹出来，孩子可以直接回复。

5. Updates and uninstall: when a new version is out, a banner appears at the top — tap Update and the PC updates itself within about a minute. The banner then shows how far it has got (received, installing, done) or, if something goes wrong, what to do. To remove it, use Uninstall… on Settings; you don't need to touch the child's PC. Updating or uninstalling from any account's entry applies to the whole PC.

   升级和卸载：有新版本时页面顶上会出提示，点「Update」，孩子电脑一分钟左右就自己升级。之后提示会显示进行到哪一步（已收到、正在装、已升级），出了问题也会告诉你怎么办。要卸载，在「Settings」里点「Uninstall…」即可，不用去动孩子的电脑。在任何一个账户那一行上点升级或卸载，都是对整台电脑生效。

6. Can my child remove it? Uninstalling on the PC needs two things: Windows admin permission, and a pairing code from your Account page (the same Get a pairing code button; each code works once, for 10 minutes, and has to be checked online). So a child can't simply uninstall it. (A tech-savvy child with an administrator account can still find ways around any app, which is why a standard account is best.) Uninstalling from Settings on your dashboard doesn't need a code. Every uninstall is also reported to your account right away (under System events on the Dashboard), and a PC that hasn't reported for 6 hours shows a red dot and how long it's been quiet.

   Can my child close it? They can end it in Task Manager (the app doesn't hide or block that), but it restarts by itself within a minute, and the Dashboard's System events records how long it wasn't running. For the strongest setup, give your child a standard Windows account. Tell your child all this up front: knowing you'll see it is usually enough to stop them from trying.

   What about other accounts on the PC? Every Windows account on the PC is recorded, so switching accounts doesn't get around it. Each account shows up as its own entry on your dashboard (named like kid2@HOMEPC), starting with the same limits as the first one; give it a nickname and its own limits under Settings. Your own account on that PC is recorded too, so raise its limits if you use it yourself.

   What if my child changes the clock? It doesn't help. The PC takes its time from the server each time it goes online, so moving the clock to tomorrow or switching the time zone doesn't restart today's limits or shift usage. The change is logged under System events. Each day starts at midnight in your family time zone (under Account). The Dashboard also warns you when a PC's clock is far off, or when it connects from a different time zone than yours, which may mean a VPN.

   孩子能卸载吗？在电脑上卸载要两样东西：Windows 管理员权限，加上你在「Account」页点「Get a pairing code」拿到的配对码（一个码只能用一次、10 分钟内有效，而且要联网核对）。所以孩子没法直接把它卸掉。（孩子的账户如果是管理员、又懂电脑，任何软件都可能被绕过去，所以最好给孩子用标准账户。）你在看板「Settings」里点远程卸载不需要码。每次卸载也会马上上报到你的账号（看板「System events」里记一条），一台电脑超过 6 小时没上报，电脑名旁边会出现红点并显示多久没动静。

   孩子能关掉它吗？在任务管理器里能结束它（程序不隐藏、也不拦这个操作），但一分钟内会自动重新启动，看板「System events」里会记下它停了多久。最稳妥的做法是给孩子用 Windows 标准账户。建议提前跟孩子讲清楚这些，知道“家长会看到”，孩子一般就不会去试了。

   电脑上别的账户呢？这台电脑上每个 Windows 账户都记，换个账户登录也躲不开。每个账户在看板上单独一行（名字像 kid2@HOMEPC），限额先照抄第一个账户的，可以在「Settings」里起昵称、单独设限额。你自己在这台电脑上的账户也会被记，自己用的话把它的限额调高就行。

   孩子改电脑的钟呢？没用。电脑每次联网都从服务器取时间，把钟调到明天、换时区，今天的额度都不会重新开始，记录也不会挪位；改钟会记在「System events」里。每天从你在「Account」里选的家庭时区的零点算起。电脑的钟偏差太大，或者联网地点跟家庭时区对不上（可能开了 VPN），看板上也会提醒。
